The Oil Spill Monitor and Gas Flare Tracker are online tools to monitor the environment in the Niger Delta.
SDN has supported the redevelopment of the Oil Spill Monitor and the Gas Flare Tracker, which were officially launched in Abuja in April 2019. The Nigerian National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA) uses the tools in its work to support a healthy, prosperous Niger Delta.
The Oil Spill Monitor and Gas Flare Tracker are an important source of information for all those working to ensure Nigerians benefit from their natural resources. Join this webinar, which will include a brief history of the project, to learn how to use the tools to access and use data on environmental issues related to the Nigerian oil industry.
