Stakeholder Democracy Network is an International non-governmental organisation that helps facilitate community development from a rights-based perspective. SDN operates in the Niger Delta where it is trying to help the communities affected by oil exploitation and the challenges of resource curse.
SDN has five pillar issues that represent significant long held grievances and acute problems that we are trying to resolve. These are: Access to Energy, Democratisation, Environment, Resilient Communities, and Resource Governance.
SDN is advertising for the following position to work in our Port Harcourt Office, Niger Delta or remotely in Abuja for the Programme Funding Manager position:
1. Programme Funding Manager.
The role: This is an exciting opportunity to lead the resource mobilization and project development work of SDN. You’ll need to have a strong track record in identifying funding opportunities and developing successful funding applications for institutional donors, and have a strong knowledge of good practices in project design and development (e.g. theories of change, log frames).
SDN is open to applications from individuals who wish to be based principally in either Port Harcourt or Abuja. If based in Abuja, the role would be primarily remote; if based in Port Harcourt it will be expected to operate mainly from the SDN office. Travel between the locations would be expected in either case.
